We encourage staff to undertake continuing professional development (CPD) activities to demonstrate commitment to professionalism, ensuring they have skills and knowledge necessary to meet our quality standard.

We are proud to be in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), which is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, and we are licensed by CMI to deliver a range of professional qualifications in the following areas:

  • Management and leadership
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Business support and management consultancy

 

We offer over 50 CMI qualifications, fully regulated by the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF), and spanning Levels 2-7 in three different qualification sizes:

  • Award – a concise qualification developing basic skills and knowledge
  • Certificate – building on and broadening the areas covered within the Award
  • Diploma – development of a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge

 

There is a progressive framework to our CMI qualifications that enables you to develop and broaden your skills. Each qualification progresses onto the next, equipping you with knowledge and confidence in many subjects relating to your chosen field. ET&C will help you select the most appropriate qualification and level to meet your needs, and/or the needs of your staff.

Furthermore, though our partnership with CMI we also offer the opportunity for clients who undertake specific CMI qualifications to apply for Chartered Manager status.
