Here at Endeavour Training & Consultancy (ET&C) we understands the importance of partnership, cultivating a relationship which benefits those concerned, to provide a more diverse provision for our customers. We know that successful partnerships are built on the principles of quality, reliability and ethics, and the work undertaken must be equitable to all.
ET&C has cultivated a number of meaningful partnerships to further support and strengthen our quality of service, giving us an opportunity to access a broader range of resources and expertise for our service provision.
To nurture the best possible partnerships ET&C ensures that potential associates are aligned to our values, and are able to deliver excellence in service areas that are different, yet related to, the overall service provided by us. It is on this basis that ET&C is in partnership with the following organisations:
Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
The Institute has played a prominent role as the professional body for management for over 65 years, firstly as the British Institute of Management and then as the Institute of Management. Chartered status was finally achieved in 2002, when the Chartered Management Institute was created. The Royal Charter was granted by the Privy Council on 12 February 2002 and came into effect on 1 April 2002.
The CMI is a registered charity in England and Wales, and holds a separate charity registration in Scotland. Its charitable mission is to promote the art and science of management. As a charity, the CMI brings benefit to managers in terms of their individual competences, to organisations in relation to their management capability.
- Management is recognised as a profession in its own right
- CMI is the pre-eminent authority for the profession of management; its acts as a standard bearer for the profession
- CMI members have a responsibility to uphold professional standards and to keep their skills and competences up to date; this is an undertaking contained in the CMI Code of Practice for Professional Managers and the IC Code of Professional Conduct and Practice
Chartered status also means that CMI is the only organisation able to award Chartered Manager status to its members.
Institute of Consulting (IC)
The Institute of Consulting has progressively been developing its position and strategy as the professional body for the consultancy profession. Its history and background is an amalgam and extension of several predecessor bodies, the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) and the Institute of Business Advisors (IBA).
The Institute of Consulting is an organisation within the Chartered Management Institute, the only chartered professional body that is dedicated to management and leadership. This allows for sharing professionalism across Managers and Consultants. Combined with the influence and resources of the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Consulting is in the unique position of supporting individuals whose collective impact is to enhance performance in small and large organisations across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
The Institute of Consulting has a core focus towards consulting professionals. We offer those working or interested in consulting a dynamic range of products and services, from specialist qualifications to tailored membership packages to those seeking procurement advice.
